Thanks for your interest in The Rice Festival. It
is the hardest thing,
telling folks at this point, that we have sold out, but that is the
wonderful truth.
We feel strongly that one of the reasons we are sold out is due to
the Rice Fest
being an intimate festival where top shelf performers are playing a
wonderful
venue to a small audience. Now that the word is out, we
expect to
sell out in advance each year. So please remember to get your
tickets early
next year, they will go on sale right here, on March 1st, 2009
As for this year, there are 3 options available to you at this
point.
1. We can put you on the "stand by" list. It is rare that folks turn
their
tickets back in, but it could happen.
2. Music underwriter sponsorships are available which include comp
tickets for the weekend and everything that comes with regular
tickets, plus
recognition as a sponsor in the festival program and a shout out
from the
stage when introducing the artist you choose to underwrite. These
are
available at $500 per 2/tickets. Remember that Cabin 10, Inc. is a
Texas cultural 501c3, so a portion of your donation is tax
deductible.
3. The last option is weather dependent. We hope that if it is a
nice
weekend that will enable us to sell "grounds only" wristbands at the
gate
for $20. these will be sold the day of the show only, and will
entitle the
bearer to access to the grounds to set up lawn chairs and listen.
You will
be able to bring your own coolers with food & beverages. It would
allow
access to the silent auction in the barn and the Bill Gibbs Stage, the musicians merchandise
booth,
and the food vendors (you will not be able to enter the seating area
in the
hall, and you will not receive complimentary beer or wine).
So if the weather pans out, we hope to see you there.
